To dear old Bill

hi there..

If you are reading this blog it means that you use a computer and hence you are bound to know something about Bill Gates.Born in 1955 in a well to do do family .From early in his life Bill had a knack for money and was shrewd enough to set a new time table for his school so that he could study with all the pretty girls!!

I write this blog because I am actually frustrated by Microsoft's snobishness, and its yearning for money..A company which licensed its first ever software (an OS) to IBM in 70's ,by actually buying it from a different person for a meagre sum of $50,000,now boasts of having the richest man in the world as its head (by the way this particular deal is supposedly one of the major events of the past century..again showing Gates' skills at manipulating things!!).It copied its first ever Windows version from Macintosh by cheating Apple computers..

And now they are here crushing and buying out competition and forcing people to buy their inferior quality softwares. They could have at least open sourced or freewared recently launched version of Internet Explorer but they didn't..They have enough money. They could have afforded it,but they are too loath to lay off their hands from even a small penny!!!

Its okay that the guy wants to earn money..But my question is HOW MUCH DOES HE NEED???Doesn't he have enough???

Another instance which proves Microsoft's inferiority in making softwares is the fact that they couldn't add a 'tab' in the Internet Explorer it provides its users. And if you are still using an older version of Internet Explorer you might not be aware of what I am talking about.(Don't worry about me I am using Mozilla 2.0 while writing this and have switched over to LINUX as an OS).

If you need another sample of MS's pilfering (and if you are using windows) go to the desktop.
Right click on the mouse, move the arrow to new and click on folder icon..Name it as "CON".See what happens..

I think I have made my point clear ..I am not jealous of Bill Gates as you might think,I actually admire the way the he has managed to stay on top for so long..But the admiration ends there.!!
He might well be leaving MS now but he has left behind an empire which is built on the philosophy of copying stuff and reverse engineering them and selling them as your own to become rich..I don't know how long such an empire can sustain itself !!!

Some of us actually treat Gates as a role model. Well my advice to them would be "Know who you are following and to where!!!"

I hope you enjoyed reading this.My views might disagree with yours, but I am entitled to have an opinion isnt it?? :D
